The Nevada Republican Party launches The Reid World at www.thereidworld.com as the voice of Nevadan’s embarrassed by the stunts and statements of our senior Senator.

The launch of this site was motivated by Senator Reid’s stunt in shutting down the US Senate while pretending to be concerned about the War in Iraq.

By raising phony questions about pre-war intelligence for partisan political purposes, Senator Reid disgraces Nevadans.  His claims of support for the troops ring hollow, as we come to realize that he and his party are willing to trade troop safety for votes.  If he and his party consider national security to be just another partisan tool, what will they say about other issues? 

We decided to compile them for analysis.  As we review them, we can only react with “Huh?”

The heat of the national spotlight stripped Senator Reid’s thin veneer of “statesmanship” to reveal a partisan hack.  Nevada’s embarrassing senior Senator has become a mindless mouthpiece of empty criticism, never offering any reasonable alternatives.
